Absher Design Group wins four ADDY awards at the American Advertising Awards Competition held in Sarasota, hosted by AdFed Suncoast on February 24, 2019. This year’s 80’s theme “ADDY Vice” 4th District competition announced the winning Southwest Florida agencies in multiple creative marketing categories to showcase the best. Absher Design Group was the only graphic design advertising agency–located in Naples, Florida–to win this year, representing Collier County against a record number of entries for this competition.
The 2019 ADDY award success represents the Founder/Creative Director, Lisa Absher and Senior Graphic Designer, Madison Absher, forming the “Power of Two” a family marketing and creative design team for design work done during 2018.
These wins showcased the design team’s unique and thoughtful use of creative branded elements in advertising and marketing that included a Gold Award for an artistically designed invitation for the Naples Winter Wine Festival’s Private Vintner Dinner. Absher Design Group won the Silver Awards for the Naples Opera Gala sales & marketing campaign, Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Med Spa of Naples – Men’s cosmetic surgery brochure, and Jean Williamson Realtor’s coastal logo design.

The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising. The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting more than 60,000 entries every year in local AAF Club (Ad Club) competitions.
Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the local Ad Club phase is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrants vie to win ADDY Awards – recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local ADDY winners compete against winners from other local clubs in one of 15 district competitions. District winners forward to the national stage of the American Advertising Awards. (All Gold winning and High Scoring Silvers automatically forward to the 4th District competition).
