A Childhood Favorite: “The Balloon” Goes POP (…art.)
Vincent van Gogh’s medium was paint and Auguste Rodin utilized bronze. But now Modern artist Larry Moss takes a very different approach with balloons. Moss takes the classics to the air using balloons in his POPART recreations of master works—reinterpreting fine art with a touch of whimsy— inspiring young minds as well as the inner child in older ones!
While Moss’ medium and use of balloons may be unique, or even unheard of to many, his creations are inspired by some of the most classic and greatest artists of the past. Although his art may constitute as a series of parodies influenced by history’s most well-known artists and their iconic, classic masterpieces, Moss’ exploration into the air has developed a new medium known as Airigami.
